Genetic counseling for individuals and families- wherever you call home.

We provide compassionate, easy-to-understand genetic counseling for people in rural and community settings, delivered through secure telehealth appointments.

What is Genetic Counseling?

Genetic counseling helps individuals and families understand how genetics may impact their health. It’s not just about testing — it’s about making sense of information, understanding options, and deciding what feels right for you.

During a genetic counseling appointment, we:

  • Talk through your personal and family health history

  • Discuss whether genetic testing may be helpful

  • Review test results, if applicable

  • Answer questions and support informed decision-making

Our role is to help you feel informed and supported — not rushed or pressured.

Who We Support

We work with individuals and families who have questions about their health, family history, or genetic test results. This includes people who are:

  • Planning a pregnancy or growing their family

  • Concerned about inherited cancer risks

  • Managing or monitoring heart conditions with a genetic component

  • Navigating a known genetic condition in the family

  • Trying to understand results from direct-to-consumer DNA tests

We support a wide range of genetic concerns and will help determine whether genetic counseling is appropriate for your situation.

How Telehealth Appointments Work

Appointments are offered through secure video or phone visits, allowing you to receive genetic counseling without the need to travel long distances or take time away from work or family.

Telehealth appointments:

  • Are private and HIPAA-compliant

  • Can be completed from home or another comfortable location

  • Allow for the same level of care as in-person visits

If technology access is a concern, we are happy to talk through options.

Genetic Testing- When Appropriate

Genetic testing is not required for every patient. If testing is appropriate, we will discuss what information testing may (and may not) provide, which options are most relevant, and potential benefits, risks, limitations, and costs.

We support both clinical genetic testing and interpretation of direct-to-consumer test results. Any decision to pursue testing is always yours.

Cost and Access

We strive to make genetic counseling accessible for individuals and families. Pricing and payment options will be discussed clearly before services are provided.

If you have questions about affordability, please reach out — we’re happy to talk through options.
