Rooted in community.
Built to support rural care.
Enchanted Mountain Genetics was founded to make high-quality genetic counseling accessible, understandable, and practical for individuals, families, and the small healthcare systems that serve them.
Why Enchanted Mountain Genetics
Enchanted Mountain Genetics was created out of a simple belief: where you live should not determine the quality of healthcare you receive.
In many rural and community settings, access to genetic counseling is limited by geography, staffing constraints, and resource availability. Patients are often asked to travel long distances or transfer care to larger systems — creating unnecessary barriers during already stressful moments.
EMG exists to bridge that gap. Through thoughtful use of telehealth and collaborative partnerships with community healthcare systems, we work to keep care local while providing the same level of expertise available in larger centers.
Our Approach
At EMG, we believe healthcare works best when it is personal, collaborative, and grounded in trust. We take the time to listen, explain, and meet people where they are — whether that’s a patient navigating complex information or a healthcare team working within real-world constraints.
We value:
Clear, honest communication
Practical solutions over one-size-fits-all models
Relationships built on mutual respect
Supporting communities without asking them to give up local care
This is how small-town medicine has always worked — and how we believe genetics care should, too.

Founder/Lead Genetic Counselor
Victoria Robertson, MS, CGC, is a board-certified genetic counselor and the founder of Enchanted Mountain Genetics. She provides patient-centered genetic counseling with a focus on improving access to care for individuals and families in rural and community settings. Victoria earned her Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from Bay Path University and has clinical experience in reproductive genetics, hereditary cancer risk assessment, and general genetics. She is passionate about helping patients understand complex information in a clear, practical way — without pressure or judgment. As a military veteran and military spouse, Victoria has firsthand experience navigating healthcare systems across different communities and understands the importance of continuity, adaptability, and collaboration in care. These experiences shape EMG’s mission to support both patients and the small healthcare systems that serve them. Outside of clinical work, Victoria values community, family, and the relationships that make small-town life feel connected — principles that guide both her practice and partnerships.
