Common Partnership Questions

  • We collaborate with your team to provide genetic counseling services that align with your patient population and clinical workflows. Depending on your needs, this may include direct patient counseling via telehealth, provider consult support, or referral-based services.

  • We recognize that each healthcare system has unique needs, patient volumes, and operational constraints. Our partnership models are designed to be flexible and scalable.

    At a foundational level, we offer:

    • Per-patient referral support, allowing practices to refer patients on an as-needed basis
    • Dedicated time-based coverage, such as blocks of scheduled hours or days reserved for your patient population, with an agreed-upon patient volume cap

    For organizations interested in a more integrated approach, we also offer short-term pilot partnerships, typically beginning with an initial three-month agreement. These pilot arrangements allow both parties to evaluate workflows, patient needs, and communication processes before transitioning to longer-term agreements, which can be reviewed and updated on a six- or twelve-month basis.

  • No. Our partnership model is designed specifically for clinics and hospitals that do not have the volume or resources to support a full-time genetic counselor. We provide flexible coverage that scales with your needs.

  • Referrals are streamlined to fit your existing processes. We work with your team to determine the most efficient referral pathway and ensure timely communication and documentation back to the referring provider.

  • We provide genetic counseling support across multiple areas, including reproductive genetics, hereditary cancer risk assessment, cardiogenetics, and general genetic counseling. Services can be tailored based on your patient population.

  • Patients are seen via secure video or phone appointments, depending on preference and access. Our telehealth model is designed to reduce barriers for rural patients while maintaining high standards of care and communication.

  • That is one of our primary goals. By offering genetic counseling services through your practice or hospital, patients can receive specialty care without needing to travel or transfer to larger health systems.

  • We provide clear, timely documentation following each encounter and communicate results and recommendations directly to the referring provider, following agreed-upon protocols.

Referral Options for Non-Contracted Providers

We also welcome referrals from individual providers and practices who are not currently engaged in a formal partnership with Enchanted Mountain Genetics. We understand that not every clinic has the volume, timing, or administrative capacity to pursue a contracted arrangement — and that should not be a barrier to patient care.

Providers may refer patients on an as-needed basis using our referral forms, with no long-term commitment required. We communicate directly with the referring provider, share documentation and recommendations in a timely manner, and coordinate care to ensure continuity.
